Weekly Roundup: July 18-22, 2016

What a week it has been! We are on the other side of a non-stop whirlwind of printing for secret projects and custom orders. And, we've finished just in time! Tropical storm Darby is looking to put a damper on our outdoor printing operation this coming week.

Custom Orders

Jana Lam Banana Leaf Cosmetic Clutch

This custom cosmetic clutch will be making its way from Honolulu, Hawaii to San Francisco first thing next week. With all of our custom orders we try to capture exactly what our customers are envisioning. We will also recreate a one-of-a-kind print that we've done in the past. Contact us on Etsy to create your perfect handmade in Hawaii Jana Lam accessory.

Secret Projects

Jana Lam Prints

We aren't spilling the beans on this project quite yet. But get excited, because these prints and color combinations are what summer dreams are made of.

And Entertainment

We've made countless clutches, cross-bodies, and totes over the years. Most of our daily tasks are second nature. This leaves our minds with nearly 40 hours each week to listen to books, podcasts, music, and episodes of 'FRIENDS' (Because we don't even have to watch to know what's going on... PIVOT!!!).

This week the #janalamfam was thrilled to have a new podcast to listen to. Fellow Hawaii-born creatives, Virginia Paresa and Bianca Nicole Bennet, released their first episodes of The Holoholo Podcast. The podcast aims to start a conversation about what it means to be from Hawaii, and how that shapes our careers and passions. Each episode is an interview with a native of Hawaii that has influenced their community. The first interview is with Sean Yoro, a street artist that has gone 'viral' because of his amazing talent as a painter and the unique way he has executed his series of water murals. We are hooked on the conversation, and are waiting with bated breath for the next installment.
