The Large size is the perfect size to slip your wrist into for hand free carrying, and the small size is great for slipping a finger through for extra grip.

Due to the hand-printed and hand-made nature of our products print placement might be slightly different than what is pictured.

Jungle City. One prevalent signature stylistic element in Jana Lam prints is the combining of organic details that are nature-based (real or not real) with hard-edged rigid shapes. Where that aesthetic originated, Jana doesn’t know, but she likes the synergy or energy of the combination of the organic and the inorganic; how they fit or move together in each piece. Jungle City is the perfect example of that synergy. It was created solely with the desire to put the leaf elements together with the skinny, small rectangles. It was a vision Jana saw in her head; the fun juxtaposition of the two disparate things into one cohesive piece. The name Jungle City is meant to represent that duality too.

Fabric:
All Jana Lam Handmade in Hawaii textiles are silk-screened by hand on cotton fabrics with water-based inks. This piece is made from a 100% cotton twill fabric with a soft finish, and is reinforced with heavyweight interfacing to make the fabric sturdy and hold its shape.

Care:
The #janalamfam recommends spot cleaning when smaller spots show up. We usually use Shout Wipes for that, but Jana has used tide pens in the past. Make sure if there is a white top print to be a little more gentle on rubbing spots out. Since the ink sits on top of the fabric a bit more than other colors, there is a chance of the ink rubbing off and getting on other parts of the fabric.

But, you can put your Jana Lam's in the wash. We usually use a hand wash cycle and lay flat to dry. After it's dried, it is always good to give it a little bit of an iron. We use 100% cotton fabric, so it may shrink in the dryer, but will definitely stand up to ironing.
