Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping
Orders will leave our studio within 2-5 days. We offer both standard and expedited shipping options for US orders. Please remember to add our 2-5 day processing time to the shipping option you choose.
If you need to receive your order ASAP and are on Oahu, we offer free store pickup during store hours. Please give us 1-2 business days to prepare your order for pickup.
If you are shipping within Hawaii order deadlines are:
December 17th for Ground Advantage and December 18th for Priority Mail
If you are shipping to the Mainland order deadlines are:
December 15th for Ground Advantage and December 18th for Priority Mail
Japan:
Shipping is available through TA-Q-BIN. Shipping fee's start at $23.35. Duties are unpaid and the responsibility of the customer.
Rest of the World:
We have calculated shipping set up through DHL and USPS. Please email us if you have any issues getting a shipping quote to your address.
We ship domestically with USPS. We also have shipping to Japan through TA-Q-BIN, and international shipping through USPS and DHL.
Pickup
We offer pickup at the Jana Lam Studio 331 Kamani Street, Suite E, Honolulu, HI 96813. The studio is open for order pickup and shopping Monday through Friday from 11am to 5pm.
We are located at the 331 Kamani Street Center. Free parking is available for customers in the center row of the parking lot. Our bright yellow door makai of Marie Louise Cleaners is hard to miss. Use the Doorbell on the right side of the door to let us know you are there!
Orders will be held for 1 month. After that, your order will be restocked without refund/credit. Please reach out to us if you need an extension or to have your order shipped instead!
Returns
Jana Lam will accept exchanges with a valid receipt for 30 days after purchase. Exchanges will be for store credit in the form of a gift card code in the amount of exchanged goods. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Some final sale items will not be accepted for returns/exchanges, including (but not limited to) custom orders, made to order items, last stock sale items.

Care
The best thing to do is spot clean when smaller spots show up. I usually use Shout Wipes for that, but Jana has used tide pens in the past. Make sure if there is a white top print to be a little more gentle on rubbing spots out. Since the ink sits on top of the fabric a bit more than other colors, there is a chance of the ink rubbing off and getting on other parts of the fabric.
But, you can put your Jana Lam's in the wash. I usually use a hand wash cycle and lay flat to dry. After it's dried, it is always good to give it a little bit of an iron. We use 100% cotton fabric, so it may shrink in the dryer, but will definitely stand up to ironing.
