Jana Lam hand-printed Placemats are made with love and aloha at the Jana Lam Studio in the Kaka’ako neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii.
They’ve been a long time in the making, but they’re finally ready, and we’re ecstatic about these eye-catching mats. We’ve gone with two of the classics, Monstera and Papaya Shadow, and Seaflower over Papaya Shadow, and you can’t go wrong with either one, or both! Pick just one color and one print, or mix and match for a happy rainbow table array. Whichever ones you choose, they are sure to bring that stunning pop of color and excitement to your table settings.

Fabric and Care
Fabric:
All Jana Lam Handmade in Hawai‘i textiles are silk-screened by hand on cotton fabrics with water-based inks. This piece is made from 100% cotton fabric that is reinforced with interfacing to give the fabric some shape with a soft feel.
Care:
The #janalamfam recommends spot cleaning when smaller spots show up. We usually use Shout Wipes for that, but Jana has used tide pens in the past. Make sure if there is a white top print to be a little more gentle on rubbing spots out. Since the ink sits on top of the fabric a bit more than other colors, there is a chance of the ink rubbing off and getting on other parts of the fabric.
But, you can put your Jana Lam's in the wash. We usually use a hand wash cycle and lay flat to dry. After it's dried, it is always good to give it a little bit of an iron. We use 100% cotton fabric, so it may shrink in the dryer, but will definitely stand up to ironing.
Shipping, Pickup, and Returns
Orders will leave our studio within 2-5 days. We offer both standard and expedited shipping options for US orders. Please remember to add our 2-5 day processing time to the shipping option you choose.
If you need to receive your order ASAP and are on Oahu, we offer free store pickup during store hours. Please give us 1-2 business days to prepare your order for pickup.
Do you offer order pickup?
We offer pickup at the Jana Lam Studio 331 Kamani Street, Suite E, Honolulu, HI 96813. The studio is open for order pickup and shopping Monday through Friday from 11am to 5pm.
What is the Return Policy?
Jana Lam will accept exchanges with a valid receipt for 30 days after purchase. Exchanges will be for store credit in the form of a gift card code in the amount of exchanged goods. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Some final sale items will not be accepted for returns/exchanges, including (but not limited to) custom orders, made to order items, last stock sale items.
